I wonder why ANY vet returns these days! We've seen, consistantly, on every soap, vets being brought back w/tons of hype & promise, only to find them in inappropriate, stupid, vapid storylines--shells of their former selves. Who can blame those who have been disappointed in their returns & who aren't interested in coming back for more? I keep wondering why FH comes back for these weak, pointless storylines, where Anna is far from being interesting, compelling or adventureous. She comes back for a few moments & then disappears again.

Someone posted some time ago, that they had seen TR (ex-Robert Scorpio) IRL & that he had said that he was disappointed in how the character was utilized last time around. Who could blame him for being at least a little gun shy about a return? Yrs ago, the actor who played a villain made a return & it was horribly done. He (his name escapes me at the moment) made it VERY clear to the public that he didn't consider it worth his time & trouble to make the commute from Europe to play such a shell of a character! Who could blame him?! His character had been one of GH's classic villains & what he became on the return was a VERY watered down, cartoonish version of the original.

When it comes to FH (Anna), it isn't as though she doesn't have other irons in the fire or is totally unemployed, grasping at any job that comes along. She is a busy, working performer.

GH has so much promise w/the established characters, & the new. But they keep missing the boat & going for the short term, cheap gimmicks. What a waste!

Yes, it was Faison. He did come back, but the actor was VERY disappointed in the way the character was written at the time. He made it VERY clear in interviews that he had expected something more out of GH & that he didn't feel that it was worth leaving his family in Europe for such a badly written storyline. Notice, he hasn't been back since then. The actor also did a lot of work in Europe, which the commute to do GH interfered with, but he had a good experience the first time around, just a very disappointing second go round. eom

I thought I read recently him saying he wouldn't be back to GH anytime soon. I can't remember where I read that, but I'm sure I did. It's a shame, but the way they treat vets, it's probably for the best.

The vets they have back are not written for very well - ''take'' Noah, Anna and Robert - they were not given good stories so if Robert doesn't want to come back I can understand. Wouldn't it be great, though, if a good storyline could revolve around Anna, Robert and Robin? (sigh) Luna
