Additional Comments: I must of missed something. How did Kate get involved with Ian? How did she figure out that he was the shooter?

Good questions. Didn't Ian start out as some BIG, DARK, SCARY uberboss? Wasn't he ordering Jerry around, making Jerry cow-tow? Was I drunk when I saw that or something? Did I get it wrong? When did he morph into a mere hitman, one with bad aim to boot, blackmailing people to escape the consequences of his actions, to save his skin from the wrath of Sonny, et al, and cringing like a deer in the headlights before Claudia, Jerry etc? Ok, so I don't watch every day, but what happened? When did things change? What happened to the mysterious, scary guy?

Message: He appeared out of the blue in Sonny's UN-protected back garden and simply told her. Very strange scene. He appeared scared and demanded a million for leaving town because he knew she didn't want Sonny to become a murderer (again). It didn't make just a lot of sense.
