Additional Comments:

I knew it wouldn't be that easy...gaslighting on this soap too.  "Can I get Up now"? The "actress" playing a part.."Claw-dia"..got up and the phone rings for her next acting job? They showed the Murder scene..she opens her eyes and get up on the show today. I must say..this gaslighting storyline is better than the y&r one.. so clever..it as like CSI's crime scene photographs..

Now Jason and Sonny thinks someone saw something...so twisted and decided to mess with the mobsters head.

Franco was at the burial scene of Claudia because he took a snapshot of the grave and the body bag. He was there and he was hiding in the woods behind the trees or something.

The scene with the model in the studio is his art. It appears he's recreating the murder scene and having fun with Jason.

Gaslight. Excellent movie. It's where the term gaslighting comes from. Ingrid Bergman 1944.

Does anybody else see a "film noir'' in GH lately? I kind of like it. Lulu's playing the femme fatale in this story line. Wait and see.

Well, Franco did see something.  He was in the woods.  How else would he know what Claudia's dress looked like or what the cabin floor looked like?  He's faking something that actually happened--making it art--but he had to witnessed something. He either didn't have his camera the night of the murder, or he is staging a new photo to freak Jason out.  The photo was already mailed, so I don't know on what timeline we were seeing that model get up off the floor.  Was that the second photo or the one that Jason received?  Probably the latter.  At first, I thought the guy dug Claudia up out of her grave.

Oh, and that phone call was from Franco's agent--not the model.  The agent couldn't understand why Franco would want to display his work for Kate Howard in PC. She thought it's a bad career move.  And "gaslighting" means something else.

  • The term gaslighting did come from the film. In the film, the Boyer character is trying to drive his wife, Bergman, mad so he can claim a treasure hidden in the house and he sets her up by lowering the gaslighting. (The film is turn of the century.) As the lights go dim the wife is made skitish by odd accurances or noises, noises the husband is making hunting for the treasure. 'Gaslighting ' has come to mean trying to drive someone balmy by faking odd occurances that seem unexplainable, or making things seem what they are not. It's a excellent movie--GHFan

You would think that the chalkline around "Claudia" would be a dead giveaway that the photo is fake.

  • excellent point....
  • chalkline
  • Jason knows there was never any chalk line because the body was removed and the cabim burned down. Jason obviously is aware of this so he knows it's fake. He also knows someone saw what really happened. I wonder if Franco recreated his vision of all of Jason's crime scenes and that's what the photos are of on his wall of crime scenes. I wonder if he's going to feature this collection in this show. Imagine life sized recreated crime scenes photos of people who all disppeared under the enforcement of Jason. What a show! Helena
  • katiesbeach and kitty, did you know that you can write your entire response in the subject line and sign it, too? The majority of us do it out of consideration so others won't have to always click inside to read what we have to say. Cool posting with you. :) Helena
  • yes, i know that. 'excellent point' was my whole response. But while we are on the subject, I avoid some of the posts where there are 10 lines of a response just in the subject line. To each his own I guess..~kb
  • I think if you asked posters if they'd prefer a signature at the end of people's posts so they don't have to click inside just to find out who's name to respond to, I'll bet 99% prefer a signature. I know what you mean about lengthy responses but most of the time there's only one sentence reasonses that could easily go in the subject line. What I dislike about Soapzone for example is that you can only reposnd with three words and the rest you have to click inside to see when it's usually less that five more words. Thanks for signing! :) Helena
