Topic: Maximista the Scene Stealer

What a firecracker!  From her very sassy hair to kicking Devlin in the shin and jumping aside, Miss Maxie rocked today.  The best part was after when she said to Jason and Spinelli, "I need to call 9-1-1.  Don't you two think I'm gonna help you cover this up!"  Finally, level-headed logic spoken by a GH character! 

Maxie is a classic soapy role played deliciously by Kirsten Storms.

ITA!  She's more fun to watch than anyone on the show right now.  LOL at how fast she had Mac and his crew on the scene.  Poor Jasey looked completely miserable, didn't he?  :o)

I am glad that Maxie called Mac and didn't think about covering this up. Oh and shush about the give/take between Maxie and Jason. I can't even picture them together. Maxie is too much woman for him. ladfan

All my predictions of JaLu have come to naught, so you're probably safe. But since we are on the subject, can't you just see Lizzie's and Spinelli's faces when they finds out Jason is? ... sorry. But there it is. //SqueezeMe, shutting up now

It is ALMOST worth it to see the look on Lizzie's face. ALMOST. ladfan

Agree!  Maxie always rocks.  Why Gh focuses on dull as dishwater, yet sanctimonious Lulu and way too often cools Maxie on the back burner has never made sense to me.  My ideal GH has much, much, much more Maxie!  (And would have had a lot more Georgie too!)

I love love love Maxie.  What a little firecracker!  She brings energy and fun to any scene she is in and pretty much steals the show.  I loved her kicking Ian and running into Spinelli's arms.  But the best part for me was when she told Mac "Jason did the shooting, but Spinelli did most of the saving".  I LOLed at that statement.  Finally a woman who doesn't think Jason walks on water.  KS is doing an excellent job as Maxie.

Yet she wasn't above screaming ''Jason do something!'' when Ian had her. Don't get me wrong, I really like Maxie and I love that she isn't afraid of Jason/Sonny.....but she's also not above using them when it suits her. Kobefan

Yes, Jason was the one with the gun. Of course she will ask him to save her life. That doesn't mean that Jason is god. ladfan

Oh, perish that thought. One of the things I LOVE about Maxie is her disdain for Jason. I hope they keep her far away from that toxic twosome. ladfan

I was a bit creeped out by the new confrontational give-and-take b/w Maxie and Jason. Many a soap love affair started out exactly this way. ::shiver:: //SqueezeMe
