Additional Comments: I haven't watched GH for years, but just happened to catch part of the wedding the other day. What happened to Michael -- did he get caught in gangster crossfire? Is he expected to recover? Thought Carly and Sonny were quite good in that scene.

Yes, Michael was caught in the crossfire when Dr. Devlin (a doctor/hitman) attempted to shoot Sonny at the warehouse--w/a bunch of Feds standing there! Carly wants to believe that Michael will recover, but he has been in a permanent, vegetative state for months & now lives in a longterm care facility. It is an excuse to get Sonny, Jason & Carly out of town from time to time--to 'visit' Michael.

Thanks, Rosebud! I've sworn off soaps forever but every once in a while I see something that is interesting, and if you stop watching over the period of a few years, the landscape is so changed you can't recognize the place!! LOL!

Yes, Claudia was paying him--hitmen don't do jobs without having an employer! eom

And I see the same actor is still playing Michael -- it's spooky how awful he looks, being in a coma! Guess the white makeup does the trick.
