It just happened to dawn on me that despite all she's been through (abortion, going crazy, etc.) she's not very experienced (not that there's anything wrong with that) for a girl of what . . . 21 or so?

The writers have a wealth of material with Dante and Lulu and their eventual conversations about her abortion, his faith, his mother's choice not to abort. There is good stuff there. Dante, despite his current situation, has had a pretty traditional upbringing, big family, church, etc. and let's face it, Lulu has not. Should be interesting, assuming TIIC don't screw it up.
