So disgusted with what they did to Logan and of course what this will mean to Scott! How many times can you kick a man- damn!! Scott never even had his daughter meet his son- WTF kind of writing is this? It makes me sick to remember how excited I was about Logan and Lulu- I even liked her back then-but that is gone! They had the chance to really involve so many players in the storyline between Logan and Lulu - and they had perfect casting for Scott's son- Josh looks so much like him I would be doing a test IRL if I was Ken! Come the F on - then we have to have more mob and Johnny! Johnny is about 100 times more interesting and hot with Maxie anyway so why not have Lulu introuduce him to the show but have her stay with Logan - give Johnny to Maxie then!! The scenes between chair daddy and Maxie over Johnny would have been priceless!!! Not to mention her going toe to toe with the Claud.
I just sat there with the tivo remote in my hand and just keep pausing- it was so damn foolish I had to keep taking a time out.
Lulu not calling 911 if only to send them to Maxie's aid - the girl could have been dying for all she knew- was bad enough but Johnny thinking hey the only thing we can do here is cover this up - when you have a man on a rampage - Maxie the commish's daughter who can testify that he attacked her first - the door looking like something out of The Shinning - and evidence of a struggle big time - THERE IS NO REASON FOR A COVER UP!
That Jason, Spinelli et all will be dragged into this sh!t - man it's just shock and awe right now-oh yeah and there is that too- what the hell happend to Logan in Iraq???? So much wasted potential here - there is more then just Logan's blood on the carpet that is for sure!!!

'Was this TPTB's attempt to gain sympathy for Lulu and redeem her in our eyes in addition to getting rid of Logan/blame it on the war in one fell swoop?'
Yes, that's exactly what I think it was. The Looloo hate has been all over the place and they must get letters complaining about her, so this would be the way to try to make people say 'Oh, poor looloo!' instead of: 'i've had enough of that brat.' And now we will see Claudia come and take over the whole mess, and get them out of it eventually, so people who have cried out against Claudia will, hopefully, then say: 'She isn't so bad after all, then.' Making the bad girl cry is a tried and true way to soften the viewer up for her. Look at how so many of you were feeling great sympathy for Carly just a couple of weeks ago, because she had lost a son. And now, heeeeere's Carly, again! Same old, same old Carly Babe, getting lit up with the prospect of 'ruining somebody's life.'
Actually, the only time I like Lulu is when someone is ready to attack her; she doesn't talk and does a pretty good helpless victim routine. I guess TPTB have the same idea about this actress.
Not that I like seeing Lulu in that position. I don't like seeing this violence-toward-women on the screen at all. Speaking of Guza, what planet is he from? Does Guza think viewers actually like to see violence against women? This is a really stupid SL. I can't believe Logan mentioned Lulu hitting him in the head with a wrench. That was a SL I'd like to forget.
I don't think she should have called 911. I think she should have realized while she was waiting for Logan to come over that she was hungry and called to order a pizza. It would have made just as much sense as anything else going on in this little story line.

What would have been wrong with her reacting in a smart way by calling 911?!?!? They could have still had the altercation but she'd have made the right decision!
I'd much rather see a character make wise decisions to illustrate how to react in an emergency instead of how stupid they are.

I actually think about the writers when they do stupid stuff like this. Why should I be thinking about them? I should be saying, Wow! What a great soap!
When I see stuff like, Eew the greedy hospital won't help people who don't have insurance! Eew the greedy mayor only wants big business in Port Charles, screw the needy! Eew the poor illegal immigrant was wronged! And of course the Iraq war it illustrates their worldview which doesn't always appeal to me when it comes to my desire to watch a soap.
And the mob. It's difficult to like this storyline the way it's written. Do they want me to like the mob or hate it? I loved Godfather I & II and The Sopranos because they were written well.
I only watch 1 other soap but c'mon out of ALL the other soaps this is the best?!

Lulu, is getting dumber with each passing day. Smug and dumb. I can’t find anything to like about her. She doesn’t care about her job, doesn’t care about the community, doesn’t take time to do a good deed. She only cares about her self. Nothing about her makes sense. Her acting is average at best. I can’t stand the smug and righteous look she wears. She’s not attractive in the least, yet we are supposed to believe that all guys are hot for her? She’s a butter face, I will give her that, but yikes. I’m not dissing her looks, it’s fine not to be a supermodel and most of us aren’t but when the story calls for the character to be physically gorgeous and the lines indicate that the character is physically attractive, then they should be physically attractive. Same goes for Carly, yuk.
Why indeed! And why did she stay put to make those useless calls? When an attacker is on his way to your location, you GET THE HELL OUT. Duh.
