Topic: I heard or read a rumor...

I was thinking that with the Dinah/Alan thing and how Phillip was the front for that happening, that a reverse of it could work as well. Phillip can come back somehow claiming that none of the emails and transfers went through when Dinah was pretending to be him. You know this can and probably will be re-written somehow.

This can lead to the downfall of Bill and Dinah, the empire revision with Alan, more with Bill and Lizzie. Remy and Ava get together, Phillip and Beth will probably reunite and Doris and Alan fall in love for real.

Josh finally dumps Cassie and begs Reva to take him back. Cassie can end up with Edmund, who really does become a nicer guy, but that Edmund-streak is still there. Little Will comes home (same kid) and causes some more havock, but doesn't try to kill anyone.

Alan has now learned to be a kinder and gentler sole and waves the white flag to Jonathan, promising him that he will never try to go after Sarah again.

The Bauer connection needs to be revisited by bringing some family back..cousins or something. Revist Hawk Shayne by bringing Roxie back.

The Spauldings had Amanda, Alan-Michael (Lucy), Alexandra, LuJack and his twin, the Wexlers...I could go on and on.

Something needs to be done. Any other ideas or thoughts?

IF Cady is headed to GL, I wouldn't count on Harley (or any character she might play) to be the fixture she once was. Cady, in recent yrs, hasn't wanted to take on a fulltime character w/lots of screen time. She has favored short term stints & wants to leave sooner rather than later. I would NEVER expect her to stick around for the long haul. eom

How WONDERFUL it would be for Grant to return as Phillip. It might just save this show. There are SO many stories that could be written around this. Oh PLEASE!!!!!!

While IA, there are great potential stories to be told around Phillip's return, we've seen promising opportunities wasted w/great storytellers at the helm. If they were in control of that aspect of the show it would be far more interesting & watchable--which isn't the case! Why should we believe that things will dramatically change because of a 'friendship'? That doesn't change the fact that marketing has to have their hand in it & they could care less about who is friends or enemies. Neither do their Corp. bosses. GA would be going back to the same old, same old, when he could do better! eom

We've heard this rumor before w/no results.  No matter WHO is HW (or co-HW), I don't want to see Phillip back unless he is a fully fleshed out character again.  I don't want to see another Rick or Ed Bauer situation.  Good friends or not, GA couldn't be sure of a great storyline or any respect for history, because that isn't what the writers are paid to make a priority--even if they want to.

I read the same thing.  The article claimed that Grant Aleksander would consider a return to the show because one of his best friends is one of the new headwriters of the show.

I wish Phillip would come back and kick Bill and Dinah's butts to the curb. I am so sick of their little game.

Oh, YAY, GA??? REALLY??? DIE FOR!!! Would they maybe bring MD back too? Maybe he could make a play for Dinah! Oh, YES!!! Love me some Phillip Spaulding! fee
