Daytime Confidential has come up with ideas for what other soaps they think the GL actors should show up on next. The link is below. What do you think?
They have named it "wishful casting" because clearly soaps don't have the room for all these actors (or the money).
I'm glad Crystal Chappell and Gina Tognoni are already on to new soaps. I really think that Marcy Rylan, Daniel Cosgrove, and Jeff Branson need to be on another soap.
I sincerely hope the Reva and Josh characters are gone with the show, but I would love to see Kim Zimmer and Robert Newman pop up on another show in different roles.
KZ would be perfect in a supporting role as a wisecracking friend or bartender or waitress at some hangout the other characters go to, such as Crimson Lights or Jimmy's Bar on Y&R.

Message: I've said it before and DC is saying the same thing. OLTL would be a perfect fit for Ron Raines. He'd be fantastic for Dorian.

Message: Cosgrove & Branson have done other soaps. They had a track record in daytime prior to GL. If $$ weren't such an issue, & the pool of soaps in production was bigger, the actors wouldn't have a problem. But the pool keeps shrinking & the experienced actors w/virtually nowhere to go keeps growing. The same holds for experienced, talented writers, directors, producers, etc.

I would like to see Zach Conroy (James) be cast as Lauren Fenmore's son, Scott Grainger, Jr., on Y&R. The last time we saw the now-adult Scott, was several years ago during one of the silly Sheila returns, and Scott was being played by the generally-lackluster and unremarkable Blair Redford. .. Funny, too, Lauren just mentioned having visted Scott in Toronto earlier this week on the show.

Message: I really, really like Jordan Clark (Billy Lewis) and would love to see him on OLTL. I think that he would really fit in with the Buchanans. It is probably the one thing that would get me to watch it again.
