Additional Comments: On another site it was mentioned that Cady McClain was a possible replacement for Beth. I think she would make a decent Harley. Same age.

Message: I hope that no soap ever hires Cady again! She has been nothing but flakey the last several yrs, flitting from one short term stint to another, never committing to a role. Today's Cady isn't the one fans fell in love w/playing Dixie. Even her Dixie return was a short term, weak return!
I don't want to see Harley being reduced to a few brief appearances each year.
I also agree that Cady just isn't Harley! She also isn't Rosanna, but that hasn't stopped ATWT from bringing her back, more than once, in the role.

No thanks to Cady McClain as Harley. And no thanks to any Harley at this point. I would way rather see Olivia in a juicy storyline that lets CC show her considerable stuff.

By the time Harley was finally written off, BE was literally the only good thing left about her. While the way in which GL lost Ehlers and Goldin was humiliating, onscreen, the show is far better off without the characters that Gus & Harley had become. They were both overexposed, overwrought, and dramatically exhausted. There is nothing left to do with Harley. Nothing.
Yeah, the character has been butchered to kingdom come. But do you honestly think that's gonna get fixed with a recast and a return story written by the same idiot who penned Ruth Karlof, The IceCreamTruck Fugitives, Harley In Tights:The Superhero, and Harley "the chick who threw her husband away like a used Kleenex because she wanted to steal her niece's fiance and have skanky sex with him on the kitchen table for a few months before abandoning her children in order to live out her sick obsession with the newly dead Gus by stealing his child, Rafe, away from his mother to get revenge on her for marrying Gus after she already dumped him and was screwing someone else in the house he built for her"? Do you really?

Message: I cannot believe that Harley is gone after so many years on GL. I used to love her so much back in the good old days. And then the writers turned her into someone I didn't like very much. I think it will be hard to replace her. I used to admire her spunk.
I liked her as Rosanna with Craig (that really took a while because I wanted Carly with Craig) but I just can't see her as Harley.
Seriously, though, if she left ATWT because of "poor treatment" she'd vetter stay away from GL.

No only that she's been on ATWT twice now and every time left before her time ran out and it's always because she's been mistreated by TPTB.
