Additional Comments: I may not have posted as much as so many of you others, but I sure did read all the posts every day. I knew I would miss GL, but I never thought that I would miss this board as much as I have. Go figure. You would think I have no life -- I do. But the board and GL went hand in hand, and it took me away -- something akin to Calgon (insert smile here)-- for that short moment in time. I just wanted to let you all know that I miss the whole kit and caboodle.

I miss the board a lot too, well it being really busy. I have no desire to talk about any other show like I did with GL, maybe it will change, maybe not. I really do miss GL and I'm a bit angry, more should have been done to save it.

For those that were also ATWT fans over the years, Margaret Reed (former Shannon) is also in the first episode, and I'm betting there will be more than a few familiar faces popping up on there...

Well that's cool! Looks like there a lots of GL and ATWT people, which should make it really good! Loved Shannon (but ESPECIALLY loved Duncan. And ESPECIALLY loved Duncan minus his shirt)!!! Someone recently got me interested in the old V shows. I got both miniseries and the TV show. MS was in that as a cop. I prefer him with his Scottish accent though. But was nice to see him. Morgan2 (Jennifer Cooke) was also in the TV series. I really liked her. I am LOVING this whole series, and wish there was lots more! fee

Count me in. It still seems strange that the show is gone, and I used to love to stop by here everyday and see what everybody's talking about. Now, it's just depressing.

I, too, miss GL and this board. I stop by about once a week to see any recent posts but it's not the same. The only other soap I watch, AMC, is well nigh unwatchable and I don't think it will survive the move to LA. I just can't get into DAYS or any other soap. I don't know the characters and none of them are well written.

I got hooked on GL as a child in my grandma's kitchen and I got hooked on AMC when I was in nursing school. If the soaps were as well written as they were in the past then maybe I could drum up some interest in them. They're just so tired and boring. Where are the Alan Spauldings, the Roger Thorpes, the Phoebe Wallingfords, etc. Where are the great characters played by great actors. Gone to soap heaven, I guess.

I really miss it all, too! But I didn't know HOW much, till I watched Days, and was THRILLED to see HOlivia! And ya'll KNOW how I hated her! But it was like finding an old buddy! I'm looking forward to this Gotham show. If Lisa Brown is directing, maybe she'll eventually be on some! Looking forward to seeing some of my buds! And much as I disliked Lily (Princess Poopy Pants) on ATWT, I REALLY miss MB! I really liked her character of Lily, even if I couldn't stand her a lot of the time. With the new actress, it's like a whole new character. Will love seeing MB on Gotham, too! Missing all my buds!

Am THRILLED to see that KZ is going to do a book! I WANT IT!!!!

Me, too. GL and the board were part of my daily routine. I still have not found anything to replace them. I have tried looking at other soaps and just can't get interested. I did catch ex-Jonathon on ATWT yesterday but only because I had read that he had started the show and turned it on hoping to see him.
