Subject: Budster & Others: Sorry, but I take the word of people who I KNOW worked behind the scenes & who were involved in the business side of things over anonymous posters. I never said that CBS didn't cancel the show. What I've said is that they weren't going to do it without P&G's permission/agreement, for a variety of reasons. Reasons that actually make business sense, which I've stated numerous times. NBC has also said that if it had been 100% their decision, AW (another P&G owned show) would have been cancelled over 10 yrs before it was. That wasn't coming from an anonymous poster on a message board who claimed to have connections behind the scenes. That came from an NBC executive, who also was the first to tell me that NO network cancels a P&G owned show without having P&G's approval. If P&G didn't want the cancellation to happen AW, ATWT & GL would still be on the air w/other networks! eom
