Topic: Son's girlfriend singing

A lovely girl, her name is Kelsey, and she's going to be famous, lol.  She just sent me this link to a card she recorded for Easter last year for American Greetings - wish she would have sent it sooner but the only reason she did now is because Son made her :).  She said it's too weird to send something out showcasing yourself but I don't think so.  I wanted to share cause I think she is wonderful.  Thanks for listening.

I like that card!  Wish I had seen it last week!!  And I really like her voice ... did she write that song?  Very very cool.  I assume she is gorgeous as well because you only seem to hang with gorgeous children!!

This is so cool!  How did she get this "gig"? Did she write the song?  Wonder if she gets residuals for every time it's played or if it was a flat rate situation?  I loved it!  She kind of sounds like Sheryl Crow

P)Thank you Q - I think it's cool too, and so is she, ;). She writes her own songs and performs in her area. She has big stuff in the works - don't know about residuals (and probably won't ask her - unless Son already knows, I might ask him, lol).

Q) Jam has a recording out but I think they only made 50 copies. She sent me copies of some of the songs but I don't know how to send them to others. Oh, BY THE WAY. Jam has decided she's going to Boulder! She's flying down in April to look for an apartment. She'd like something close enough to walk or ride her bike to campus, but not amidst that maniacal college crowd. She has a friend who lives nearby that will help steer her to the right sections of town. She's excited, but it's such a financial change. She will go from earning money to spending money. I figure she'll probably ''lose'' 90K in income over the next two or so years, but she will gain a masters degree. Hope it pays off in the long run!

P)Oh awesome!!! Let me know when you are in the area. And I would LOVE to hear Jam's recording.
