I wanted to be a professional french horn player in a major American symphony orchestra. Guess you know THAT never came true. I guess I didn't practice enough, LOL.
Deep down, I think I wanted to live the life my mother did: stay at home mom, scout leader, volunteer, etc. I pretty much achieved THAT, and have been very happy doing so.
I wanted to be a vet. I thought it would be all about getting to play with cute animals (maily dogs) all day long. I didn't think of the reality of it. I know now that I couldn't do it, although I still love animals.
My dream still is to have a big farm (or a house with a lot of land) and take in as many dogs/cats as I could without monetary concerns. Oh well. Guess that isn't going to happen either.

Message: I wanted to write great books. Guess thats why I read so many now. But I have had a very wonderful life without writing anything for anyone me. I am writing memories of my childhood don't think there would be much interest to others. My imagination isn't what it was when I was 16. and I helped my grand-father put a roof on his house to earn money to buy a $100.00 Royal portable type writer.

Message: I don't recall any career path I aspired to. I knew I wanted to be a mom. I guess I sort of left life move me along. I moved in the direction that best served my family. That being said I helped my husband start a business and continued to work with him until a few years ago. Now once again I am filling in where ever I am needed. Life's good.
