Every time I saw the Miley Cyrus picture on tv, I kept thinking of the Les Mis girl. I really don't object to this picture so much. I think the picture of her and Billy Ray has some ick factor, however.

I have two Miley Cyrus fans living with me and she really seems to be a down to earth girl. I honestly think the press finds things about her to criticize. Maybe the pictures are a bit unorthodox - but when a "genius" is taking your pictures you probably don't question her. That's the trouble when someone is given genius status, people tend not to think for themselves and trust them - no matter what kind of crap they come up with. I think her Dad makes efforts to keep her grounded. There is absolutely nothing comparable to Lohan or Spears or Hilton - I hope I am not proven wrong someday.

P) I should amend this a bit, lol - I do not think Annie Leibovitz' work is crap - quite the opposite. I was talking genius in general. ;)

And yes, Billy Ray is such a creep. He is so riding her coattails trying to steal some of her fame. Let her enjoy the moment, you big has been! I never liked that Achy-breaky mullet crap!

I can see 2 sides to the story. People get in a big uproar over nothing really, but then again and the side I side most with thinks: She is a cash cow right now for the Cyrus family. She's cutes, she's perky, she's popular, why not pimp her out and make some money? Really, After Billy Raes, one hit wonder-where did his career go? As someone on another board said: You can take the trash out of trailer, but you cant take the trailer out of the trash. I find the picture with her Dad more disturbing than the teen in the blankie shot. If I were ever asked to pose with my Dad in such a fashion I would scream Oh-GROSS and go running, no matter how much I loved him.
