Subject: Wow, thanks, Q! I got all teary eyed just reading that!! You're right, I know other people who have had problems with their children and they were raised in wonderful atmospheres! I guess I always prepare myself for dealing with broken hearts and what to do if they get introduced to drugs or alcohol...never really occurred to me that hair pulling would be my biggest trial!!! :) We prayed together the other night for Jesus to send her the strength to not pull her hair, and I told her whenever the urge is so strong to come find me and we'll talk about it. So far she hasn't come to find me, but I think it helps her to understand that I'm not going to make fun of her for something she can't help! I also sent away for some info regarding hair pulling and I'm going to take it with me when we go to the doctor in case she's not very familiar with it. I guess it's normal to blame yourself as a parent...especially when rude people ask what is up with her eyebrows and then ask why I can't just make her stop. Grrr!!!! But thank you for your kind words...you always have a way of saying things that I need to hear without offending me! I truly appreciate your knowledge and kindness!!! Sandigal
