Topic: It's been a long, long while.......... :-)

Hi there.

I used to be a regular on this board (years ago) and I haven't really watched OLTL regularly in as long.

I started watching sporatically again the past few weeks, I suppose. 

A question/comment or two: 

What happened to Nathanial Marston/Al?

What happened to Evangaline?

I cannot BELIEVE Starr is pregnant!  (still trying to wrap my brain around this one).

I'm pleasantly suprised that so many of you guys are enjoying the show as of late.  Last I watched, the show was not even remotely entertaining.  lol! 

It's nice to see some familiar names on this board, by the way. 

Hi, Cali!  Welcome back!  OLTL has gotten alot better, it's true.  I watch it on and off, but lately I've been trying to tune in more often. 

The writing is so much better, I'm enjoying having Marty and Tina back, and I'm also a big fan of the newer characters Keys and Brody.

Do you ever go to the Y&R Board?  I thought you used to post over there, too, but I could be mistaken.

Hey!! :-) Thanks for the info. I post very rarely on Y&R, yes...I watch Y&R more than I do OLTL (I've always watched both, with a little Days on the side). Oh yeah, it was good to see Tina! She's one of my favs from when I was a kid. --Cali

I remember when you used to post here.  Welcome back.  N. Marston was let go from the show because of some legal problems. It was public news that he attacked someone out in the street, thew a metal crate at him or something like that.  I guess OLTL felt the publicity was bad and he was let go.

Evangeline is in a coma brought on by some poison gas that was injected into Christian's apartment.  This was during the white supremecy storyline invloving Tate and his father.  We really know that they would not renew RG's contract.

The show is a lot better these days with RC as headwriter!

This was also not NM's first run in w/the law over his temper. He had at least one, possibly two other incidents. As usual w/people w/his kind of history, he always had an excuse about why he was the innocent, misunderstood victim. He made himself a liability. eom

Actually, the show is a lot better without RG, too. I'm sure it isn't a coincidence that OLTL is much better after RG was off the canvas. -lj
