Todd haters had a field day when Todd beat up Cole. But yesterday Cole goes to Dorians pissed off and demands to talk to Todd and proceeded to get in his face, tell him off and mock him about raping his mother, which tells me that Todd didn't beat him up that badly. Todd haters painted Cole as a victim, but victims don't go back for more do they? Cole had no business coming in there with his *I take no responsibility* attitude. What did he expect to accomplish? I guess when Cole finds out Starr is pregnant it will be Todd's fault that they didn't use a condom too.

There's no defending Todd in all of this. He's being totally irrational and abusive. Cole was right on the money when he told Todd he is the real rapist. Todd should be behind bars right now for how he's treated Cole.
Please, Todd is a grown man! Cole is a teenage boy! Even so I kept wishing Cole would whip out an AK47 and blow Todd off the face of the earth. He's been stinking up OLTL for too long!

Message: Well, I don't hate Todd, but I'm glad Cole got in his face yesterday. Todd wants to come across as the righteous, protective father, but what he is doing to Starr is emotional abuse.

Message: If you all think about it the idea of Cole and Star dating in the first place is ridiculous. Star's dad raped Cole's mom. How can they ever realistically get past that? That would always get in the way.

Message: Just because Cole faced Todd head on doesn't mean that he wasn't 'beaten up that badly'. The reality is that Todd committed assault & could do serious jail/prison time for what he did--whether or not he felt justified. Was it the smartest thing to do? No. But I can believe that Cole feels empowered & wanted to face down 'the old man'--pushing his buttons.

Message: I am not defending Todd. but Cole is stupid and a glutten for punishment. He keeps comming back for more.He should stay away for awhile uintil Todd cools down.He didnt seem to care that much for Starr while he and Langston were planning the party. It seems like he is a sullen stupid boy who always gets his way. Where is Nora in all of this ? She is not much of a step Mother.
"Mock him about raping his mother". Sorry, but I thought a long time ago that the way they had portrayed Cole as accepting the fact that this guy had raped his mother & that he would even want to be in the same room as Todd was beyond ridiculous. Could you imagine if it happened to your mom? What would you do?

Message: Well, I, for one, did not rail against Todd for beating up Cole. I thought it was totally Todd-like behavior. He should've been charged with a crime, but that's nothing new for Todd. Engaging in an online discussion about what Todd did to Cole makes me a Todd lover (awakened from my coma after years of the snoozefest that has been TSJ and the writing for Todd), not a Todd hater.

Message: While reprehensible, I thought Todd's actions upon finding Cole and Starr in bed together were completely in character and didn't faze me in the least. With that said, I'm not sure what's comparable between giving a teenager a hellacious beating and insisting on having a frank discussion with a few hard truths thrown in for good measure. Here's a clue: one activity comes under the heading of felony assault, the other does not.
