Additional Comments: Okay, I haven't been watching a lot lately, but I've kept up via the recaps. My question(s) are as follows. First, what happened with regard to Cole shooting Miles? I know he didn't do time. How did he get out of that? Does anyone else besides Starr know the truth and will this come back to haunt them? Second, Who has Sam/Tommy right now? If not Todd, what does he have to do to get him back? Third, what do you think will happen to Todd and his custody case once it is discovered he is holding Marty hostage? Will this be the catalyst to making his lose Tommy/Sam? If you can fill me in, I'd appreciate it?

Todd witnessed Cole shooting Miles and he has threatened to have Cole thrown in prison for it several times.

If any judge ever awards Todd custody of so much as a puppy, I'd be shocked. And outraged. Todd is a very sick person who needs deep, long therapy before he has any say over the life of a child again.
I believe Sam is in foster care at the moment.

Oops. I believe Blair stepped forward and had temporary care of Sam who is still a ward of the court. I don't think she has custody as such. GHFan

Starr just took Sam to the park the other day.

Hi Steve,

1. John covered it up and I don't recall if Miles remembers who shot him (yes, he's still around for now). The only other witness is dead (Lee) so I don't think the show intends to revisit this.

As for when Miles will be back, I don't know. Since a certain 'person' is returning (vague for those who avoid spoilers), I am wondering if Allison will wake up and revisit the 'secret' anytime soon.

2. Blair was awarded temporary custody of Sam as she is the parent of Sam's siblings. Marcie tried to get custody and the Judge refused for obvious reasons. Blair stepped up and requested custody when the judge announced Sam was going into foster care.

3. I don't think the storyline with Marty will result in him losing Sam.

This storyline along with the demonizing of Todd was to allow TSJ time off as he is working on another project (he is not leaving OLTL) AND to try and correct the mess Gary Tomlin made.

Marty doesn't know who he is (amnesia) and he is trying to take care of her (like Lee did). His motives at this time are not completely clear.

Tomlin is responisble for Starr being PG and Todd beating the crap out of everyone. eom jane
