Topic: Please tell me Nora finds the letter!

Additional Comments:  I like Lindsey, but I'm looking forward to Nora finding out the truth and sticking it to her big time for what she pulled. If Lindsey rushes into Nora's office, and is able to distract her and retrieve the letter, I'm going to be so mad. This is another secret I'm looking forward to seeing exposed, and then all the ugly fallout. Just imagine Bo's reaction. I don't want to see this dragged out unless Bo ends up asking Lindsey to marry him, and then the truth comes out right before he says I do. On a side note, it stinks that apparently R.J. is leaving, but I wonder if the letter in some way was him sticking it to Lindsey one last time by putting in writing what she did in the hopes that somebody would see it.

I like Nora, and I know that she has every right to despise Lindsay, but her self-righteous attitude does get to me sometimes (the same way that Viki's does with Dorian). I know that all secrets come out eventually, but I actually want Lindsay to get away with this one. I am still pissed that they even had to make Lindsay fake insanity. Lindsay has done a lot of horrible things, but I can't see her repeatedly stabbing Spencer with a pair of scissors in her normal state of mind. Given everything she was going through, she could have experienced temporary insanity. If not that, she could have easily argued defense...he was attacking blair.

I agree, it really sucks about RJ. I still cannot fathom how TPTB could shove the same horrible characters down our  throats every day, and not give TDS a decent SL that would do him justice. It is such a sad waste of talent. Call me a sap, but regarding the letter, I would like to think of it as a sincere letter, not RJ trying to stick it to Lindsay.

  • I'm not sure if TDS wants full-time work on OLTL right now. Isn't he doing Shakespeare or other plays? Maybe he doesn't want to be tied down to the permanancy of a contract. Whatever the reason, I don't think we can automatically blame tptb. I don't think RJ is leaving for good - I think there's a good chance he'll be back later. eom
  • that's true, maybe he doesn't want to be on contract.......but i can't help but think that if they had truly utilized his potential and given him major SL's, he might have stuck around. i hope you are right that he comes back, but even if he does, it will probably just be the occasional appearance. it's a shame.//cake

Could someone please help me out with the contents of R.J.'s letter?  I got distracted while Lindsay was reading it, and the only part I remember clearly is that he ended by saying her secret is safe with him.  What else did he say?  Did he actually say something that would incriminate her?

  • It just said, it takes a special kind of woman to kill a monster and fake a nervous breakdown to get out of having to do time. Then the rest was Lindsay I miss you, blah, blah, blah.
  • Whoa! She's screwed! Thanks, Miss Bear. //SqueezeMe

Well, since you asked - yes Nora does find the letter, next week some time I believe.

It's unbelievable to me that she hasn't seen it yet. I hate these kind of plot devices where the item in question is made obvious to the viewers but the characters don't seem to notice. Why would Nora not notice a piece of blue paper sticking out of the files with R.J.'s name on it?

Tptb seem to be rushing this plot, but Bo will propose to Lindsay at the end of this week, and next week they're rushing a wedding because Nash's funeral made them realize life is too short to wait around. But rumor has it, Nora finds the letter just in time to stop the wedding if she so chooses.
