It's been confirmed!!! Susan Haskell has posted it on her website that she is returning as Marty.

Another day, another rumor/spoiler..Looks like they're revisiting the 80's & 90's.

Someone close to Tina from Llanview is returning, but it's not Cord. Rumors say it could be Max, Cain, or Mitch. Some say David but I doubt it's him because everyone already knows he's coming back. I swear it's getting to be where the spoilers/rumors are more fun than the show...LOL I think this one is Max!

My thought is that Kevin Spirtas, who is talked about below, may be playing one of those characters (except for Max) - as they've already leaked that Jonas Chamberlin's true identity will surprise (especially longtime) viewers. It could be Tina's ex-husband (during Evans-successor Karen Witter's successful run as Tina), Cain Rogan, as he was initially a chameleon con-artist when he arrived in Llanview - and a type of character that Spirtas could run with. As a matter of fact, it was cited by Sarah (aka Flash) five years ago that she fled to Llanview because her mother, Tina, reconcilled with Cain - and that she & Cain did not get along. There's also a possibility that he's a recast Mitch Laurence, though I'd have to say the plastic-surgeon was definitely deSORASing Mitch in such a case. Or... maybe none of the above? ~Soaker

As of fridays show..Jonas has 2 sons who have been in trouble...So who is really this Jonas that we're supposed to know? Max has the twins but a girl & a boy. Cain having kids? LOL Who are we missing? Or are they rewriting history once again?...G

Sorry, I just realized Clint wasn't talking about Jonas it was Calvin whoever? Too many new characters....G

Kevin Spiritas joins OLTL as Jonas C.has ties to Tina. RUMOR: He is really CJ Roberts.

Also, Kevin is being recasted but it's not Dan G. the last Kevin. Joey will probably follow. They want Buchanans & that's why Nash is a goner. Also saying that RC has a story for Miles in May. I thought he was leaving, maybe not.

OK, his one is really out there but it's rumored that Allison's DVD that she wouldn't let Jessy have, has a load of secrets on it that would include 8 people. But apparently that might all be tossed away(along with that DVD.LOL) & Viki actually miscarried Clint's kid. Jessica & Rex are twins & their father is non other than Mitch & Viki is the mom..WOW Is that one out there. OH & Nat is neither a Buch or a Balsom. These are all rumors..

Oh forgot, Carlo has ties to Ramsey, & Caitlan is the one who is taking care of Marty till she's able to come out of hiding...G

Thanks gemini, those are some spoilers!!! I hope some of them are true, especially the one about CJ Roberts, Tina and Cord's son just disappeared off the face of the earth!!

Kevin Spiritas is in his forties, so he WON'T be playing Tina's son CJ. LOL.

LOL! Spirtas could not possibly play the son of Andrea Evans or John Loprieno. So that rumor is a no-go. ~Soaker

By the way, Paul Anthony Stewart (ex-Casey Bowman, Loving; ex-Danny Santos, GL) would make an EXCELLENT choice for Joey Buchanan... very much in the spirit of how Nathan Fillion, the quinitisential Joey, played the role. I'd rather see an attractive, talented actor with depth such as Stewart - than yet another semi-vacant, too-young-for-the-part himbo who will undoubtedly (again) fail in such a role. ~Soaker

What do you mean that Caitlyn is taking care of Marty? I thought Marty was supposed to be upstairs in Ramsey's apartment. The woman who takes care of her could not be Caitlyn. Ramsey and she are very formal with one another and she's a bit older than what Caitlyn would be. Could you clarify that?? //Lori

Lori, Those are all RUMORS that are being thrown around because of all the return spoilers this summer. As for who is in the penthouse? It's still being speculated whether it's Marty or Tina or someone else...G

Thanks for the info. I wonder if they can lure Alex back for another visit.

It would be nice to give Renee some screentime with Carlo as well (or at least acknowledge his presence. She was mentioned but I don't recall if she was ever seen during his last visit and for those not in the know, the two have a history that has been discussed during storylines by previous headwriters.

It would give Renee something to do instead of mourning Asa.

Jay, I'm hoping once RC is back writing we'll see more of Renee. Her whole Jared reminds me of Asa was so NOT Renee. I think RC had bigger plans for that story, but with the strike all that stopped & we haven't seen Renee much. Maybe Carlo & Renee are up to something because she's pissed about Asa not leaving her anything & giving the mansion to Nora. That was odd. Didn't Renee have some involvement with Carlo when he was Posiden?...G

Renee's involvement with Carlo stems prior to her arrival in Llanview. That's why he was pretty much obsessed with her when he first showed up in town circa 1990. ~Soaker

I know she knew Carlo in Vegas but wasn't she also in his Poseidon story when he was after Patrick & Marty? I forgot alot of what happened during that time. Wasn't she married/dating Mortimer Stern aka Carlo? Or am I all mixed up? LOL...G
