Additional Comments: What a contrast-I loved every line in the David/Addie "wedding." The lines about the Carpenters song, and the violinist were a LOL minute or two.....switch to Mendorra -SNOOZE.....it was so bad, it was like watching a car crash....couldn't take my eyes away, but revolted, just the same. Wondering if it's the same writers on both SL. Wow.

Message: I think the biggest difference between the two weddings were the performers. With David and Addie's, we had some of the strongest actors on the show having fun playing a farce. (Loved Dorian's "Stop it!" to the violinist playing "We've Only Just Begun".) With Mendorra we have some of the weakest players trying to pull off a quasi-camp storyline. I ff'd through most of it. I'm sorry to AE fans, but her Tina is just painful to watch. It's like she's completely forgotten her "beloved" daughter just went over a waterfall. The actress playing Talia actually came across with some strength (I thought her expressions, especially in ff were a hoot), but it wasn't enough to get me interested in the scenes. Antonio is always ff for me, although I did watch the snippet where Cris says Sarah is gone. DF was good in that. But those snippets aren't enough. I think if TW, RS and the actress who plays Addie were in the Mendorra plot, it would be a whole 'nother story.

Message: One wedding was intelligently written and acted, the other was like watching a cartoonish 60's spy show. No contest. I think the Mendorra idea must have started out good, but became so misguided that it is unsalvageable at this point. It's all filmed already, so they have to air it, but boy, what a bomb! Also, as silly as the Bo and Rex stuff is, I was kind of enjoying it. Yesterday it stalled for me though, and I hope that was temporary, or else that could go the way of the FF too.

The wedding scene at Dorian's house was fun....the Carpenter stuff was LOL funny, Addie's list was Addie charming, Dorian was, well, Dorian, and I loved all the Crammer women telling David, in unison, to get out.
Exactly! It's hard to imagine that both stories are coming from the same group of writers, from the sublime to the ridiculous. I have to add that the actors assembled in Dorian's livingroom, were definitely superior to those at the Mendoran Royal Palace, LOL.
