I just read the list, wow. Oltl was snubbed in just about every major category except nominating Renee Goldsberry in the supporting actress category. I thought for sure that Starr would be nominated in the younger actress category. I think she has done a superb job of acting this past year. Seems like the Young and the Restless is always sweeping all the awards.
I was so PO'd when I saw that two younger actresses from Y&R were nominated and K. Alderson was NOT. I watch Y&R and I am here to tell you those two actresses put together do not have the talent Kristen does.

OLTL did not receive much in the way of acting nominiations (only Brian Kerwin was nominated). Most of the nominations for OLTL were for non-acting or technical stuff (writing, directing, casting, costume etc)
There was reportedly some question as to whether those who were nominated deserved to be. The reason being that those who voted had to watch a large amount of material and there was question as to whether they actually did or just voted based on their network (THERE IS NO EVIDENCE INDICATING THEY DID NOT WATCH, JUST A SUGGESTION BY SOME IN THE INDUSTRY).
