Subject: R.J. was and is one of the most underutlized good villains I've ever seen on soaps. He had the capacity to do really rotten things (like arranging the kidnapping of Max's twins) and then turning around and doing something redemptive (rescuing said twins when the kidnapping took a nasty twist). I don't know why the many writing regimes have not been able to create story for R.J. It's a waste. Wanda Wolek
