I've got mine!  I pre-ordered them from iTunes and downloaded them first thing this morning.  I'm listening to Clay's right now.  It's good!  It said you got an extra song with the pre-order???

If you get the more expensive ($13.00 vs $9.99) version of Neil Diamond's you get 4 videos.  I just watched them on my computer - to be honest they are pretty boring.  All are of him just sitting in a studio playing his guitar and singing so not really a story telling video like the hot, steamy ones of Enrique Iglesias. LOL  I love watching Enrique's!  Whew!  HOT!

That's right!     I will check Wally World to see if they have either of them.    We're not doing a city trip until later in the week if then.     You got my attention right off.    LOL

We will NOT be going to see Neil.   The tickets are between $250-$300.   WTH?    Must be a small venue.     JAN had told me they didn't go when he was in the DC area because of how high they were and I couldn't figure out why they'd be so much higher.    That's nuts.    $600 for ANY concert isn't going to be happening for us.

  • WOW! Neil is good, but damn, he's OLD> I guess us old folks are supposed to be retired and living high on the hog! Well, not this girl. I'm glad he is not gonna be close to me, that would kill me!! (SSS)
  • Nope, Neil is playing at The Verizon Center in D.C. and it is not a small venue ... it's huge. I asked Tom if he wanted to go see him. He likes him but he wasn't interested because of the high prices, especially for seats that would be any good. The Verizon Center is where they hold the big sporting events too. They even have sky boxes so unless you were up close you'd be watching Neil on one of the huge trinitron TV screens. I laughed out loud when I read about the sky boxes (I think they called them ''private suites''. Anyway you can get one for 20 - 50 people (something like that) and it said '' there is a TV in the room''!! Why bother going to the concert if you're in a room overlooking the performance that is a loooooong way away and you have to watch it on a TV. Weird! eom mags
  • OH and our son asked me if we wanted to go see Jimmy Buffet at The Nissan Pavilon. It's a huge venue too. I'm not that much of a fan of Buffett. Neither is Tom. The kid said that the fun is in the parking lot before the concert. All the Parrot Heads partying. I told him his dad doesn't even know what a Parrot Head is! I don't know how they fill these huge venues with those astronomical prices for the tickets. The performers should be ashamed of themselves. Weren't there a couple that were trying to keep the ticket prices down a few years ago? I can't remember who it was though. eom mags
  • I didn't get either one. I got my hair cut and then came home with the intention to go back out, but never got there. We're probably going to get ourselves a city fix Friday or Monday though so maybe I'll do Borders. I love that store. Yeah, the prices have gotten WAY out of hand! I think we paid $140 for tickets close up on the floor 3-4 years ago. That's DOUBLE the price. Who spends that kinda money? I'm awfully glad I got to see him (and still wanna see Bette) but I also want to make sure I have enough to eat in my old age. Can't have both. Gail
