Topic: Question for Sunday, September 28 *baseball*

What is the average length of a major league baseball player's career?

5 years

10 years

12 years

There are some players who seem to never hang up their gloves, but the average career of the professional baseball player is 5 years. That does not seem like very long. I wish Fed Up were here to offer her opinion.

Oops! I should have mentioned Doopy got the correct answer. - Rusty

YAY!!! I picked that answer because I figured for every name we know, there are a dozen who have washed out after a year or two, bringing down the average. - Doopy

Back when I watched all the Cubs' games, I knew all of the players in the National Leaque.    Based on that knowledge (like it's going to help lol) I'm guessing.... 12.
