Oh, school's out, summer vacation.... Doncha wish you had one? For those of you on 7-day weekends and those of you working on a school schedule, I envy you!
BUT, I always get a yearning this time of year. Sounds silly, but I get very nostalgic at all these "Back to School" sales. I remember getting new school supplies, new clothes, etc. and being excited about meeting my teachers and new kids.

Do you ever want to go back to school? Not to HS or as a teenager but I'd go back to college.
If you did, what courses would you take? Probably more computer classes. I'd like to take classes on the harware more than the software.
What was you favorite class in high school? Crafts or Home Ec (neither of which they have much of anymore)
What was your favorite school club or organization? probably Future homemakers or yearbook
Were you "clothes conscious" in school? I think so but not LABEL conscious. Hey, it was the 70s so it was COOL to be thrifty.
Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? I probably fit in more with the nerd category...
Do you ever want to go back to school? I actually start Nursing School the end of August. I have been taking the pre-nursing classes the past 2 years

What was you favorite class in high school? Yearbook! I put my pic all through it! ha ha
What was your favorite school club or organization? I loved being in the band during football season, for home and away games. What memories!
Were you "clothes conscious" in school? Nope. When I look back at high school pics now it is hilarious!
Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? I was in the band (e-flat clarinet) and on the tennis team. I'm living my cheerleader dreams through my daughter - ha ha
Do you ever want to go back to school? No. The opportunity is there, but the will just isn't.
If you did, what courses would you take? Arts, folk studies, maybe some poetry.
What was you favorite class in high school? Does band count as a class? If not, writing classes.
What was your favorite school club or organization? Band/chorus.

Do you ever want to go back to school? Yes, and I do it periodically.

Were you "clothes conscious" in school? Yeah ... it's the age. Who wasn't?
Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? I was always the new kid. 10 schools in 12 years.
Do you ever want to go back to school? Not in a million years!
If you did, what courses would you take? Maybe something to help me with my job. I don't know really.

What was your favorite school club or organization? The Thespians. I was in that group for a bit.

Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? I was not in any group, really. I was on the grils track team for a season.
Do you ever want to go back to school? Well certainly not back to H/S!! I loved grammar school & Jr. High but H/S not so much!
If you did, what courses would you take? If I did go back it would be an art or music class of some sort.
What was you favorite class in high school? Actually I liked several classes...English, Ceramics, Drama, and Choir.

Were you "clothes conscious" in school? Not in the what was most popular....but my 2 best friends & I thought of ourselves as very bohemian!! ; )....Wait'll ''they'' see this...'' kinda attitude!!
Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? Being a Cheerleader was definately not my thing!! I guess none of those catagories fit. I was into quirkier things...like going to the ''Guild'' (the local art theater) and seeing movies w/sub titles...foreign flicks etc. shopping thrift stores (when it wasn't fashionable) hanging out in ''Belmontes'' a Coffee House where people read poetry etc...... and going to see live music & dances!

Do you ever want to go back to school? Yes I want to go back and am looking into it. The only problem PAYING for it.
If you did, what courses would you take? I want to take some business courses, still checking out what they got
What was you favorite class in high school? I really liked my business classes that I took accounting type course they were cool and USEFUL in the real world.
What was your favorite school club or organization? Hmm I wasn't a joiner

Do you ever want to go back to school? Only to take art courses. I am trying to get the energy to enroll for a class at the junior college here. I'm so lazy any more at making a commitment to something else. I'm sure your heart is bleeding for me right about now. ;-)

What was you favorite class in high school? English Lit and Art
What was your favorite school club or organization? Folk Dancing Club (which was really just a time to goof around and/or do homework.)
Were you "clothes conscious" in school? Yes I was. I remember being so excited over having a yellow Bobbie Brooks wool skirt and matching sweater. I thought I was rich. LOL Now I think they sell that brand at WalMart. Weird!
Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? I was in a tie for a play-off for majorette in HS, but was SO nervous at the auditions that I blew it. It wasn't meant to be as I wasn't even disappointed after about five minutes. I was in some parades and I think that was enough to satisfy my majorette-ness. Heh
Do you ever want to go back to school? I think about it once and awhile since we have a fantastic local community college. OTOH, I suppose Front Sight is a school too and I go there.
If you did, what courses would you take? Something crafty like Stained Glass or pottery.
What was you favorite class in high school? Calculus and physics but I also loved photography because all my friends were in the class.
What was your favorite school club or organization? I wasn't in any in high school. In college I was in a few including the ski club.

Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? Our school was really strange. Besides the cheerleaders & jocks, we had the farmers & stoners. Most of the farmers were jocks but they associated more with being farmers. I was the all-around nerd but I also ran in track.

Do you ever want to go back to school? Sure. Not in the way I spent years and years there as a youngun but I often think about taking classes and sometimes do.
If you did, what courses would you take? I've gone for home improvement classes and they are great.
What was you favorite class in high school? Religion. By the time we got to senior year of high school our Religion classes were run by the priests. They were very open minded and exams were a snap.
What was your favorite school club or organization? Drama.
Were you "clothes conscious" in school? We wore uniforms. Even still we tried to be unique but it was always frowned upon. A little thing like a sweater under the blazer and that was worn for warmth was not allowed. Brrrr.
Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? I was captain of the varsity cheerleading squad.
I still love walking down the school supply aisles at the stores. There is such a nostalgic feeling and smell....those new crayons!

Do you ever want to go back to school? Not really - I went back in my late 20's and took Tennis, Golf and Racquetball all at the same time. That was fun. I got all As even with tests and final exams. That was in my athletic stage of life.
If you did, what courses would you take? Today I would take a Photography Course.
What was you favorite class in high school? Gym? Chorus? English if you want a course where I actually learned something.
What was your favorite school club or organization? Didn't belong to any. Lol, ok I did belong to The French Club my freshman year. This from someone who took French 4 years and NEVER got out of the French I book. (I wasn't alone ... lousy teacher)
Were you "clothes conscious" in school? To a degree. Oh! Remember the ''Ladybug'' line of clothes and Lerner's Department Store? Ahhhh, memories!
Were you the school cheerleader, sports player or all-around nerd? None of those. I was pretty much of a loner due to circumstanes at home. I had to pick up my younger brother right after school. He was in day care and since our Mom had died, I was his caretaker after school hours. I dated a lot and always had a steady beau but school activities were pretty much out of the question except for dances.

What was you favorite class in high school? - Math, but in public school it was French
