The doctor just called and informed me that Miss Tiffy has rediscovered her ''inner kitten''. (lol) It seems that she's up and about, curious about her surroundings, watching the other animals, and interacting with her caregivers. That's my Tiffy who has never realized that she is no longer a kitten. I suspect she'll be taking a long nap after being so active.
The doctor was shocked and said he can't believe how resilient she is. He also said that this helped her to survive this dreadful tumor and it's effects. It will also work to her advantage during recovery.
Her potassium is beginning to increase *yippee* and we hope that her muscle enzymes will decrease soon. That combo will enable her muscles to repair themselves.
Isn't this nice - the doctor told me to go have MY SURGERY tomorrow and they will keep Tiffy longer than necessary IF I need a few days to recover. I really appreciated his telling me that. Please send some prayers MY way.
I believe that prayers, positive energy, and Tiffy's determination herself all helped to bring her back from the brink of death. I can never thank you enough. Your kind words of encouragement, good thoughts, and prayers have helped me though this ordeal. Your continued prayers would be welcome.
I'll let you know when she comes home!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Wait... YOUR surgery? Evidently, I missed something. I'll pray all goes well. You and Tiffy can recover together.
When I was a kid we had a tortie named Humbug. She knew when anyone was sick, and would curl up on our beds to help us recover. They really do work wonders.. Love the pic.
Oh my I'm so happy to hear the good news. What a fabulous picture, you look fantastic!! You know prayers are coming your way and this news can only help!!!
