I found a Marine Corps t-shirt that my grandson sent to my husband after he got out of Officer's Training School. It was about 10 sizes too small for my husband and I sent it on to my 13 year old grandson. Thought he might get a kick out of wearing a genuine Marine Corps t-shirt.
Seems that it had some very bad words on it that I didn't see. My grandson laughed and said he bet none of the other kids had a grandma that sends them *cussing shirts*. That will teach me to read the writing on the shirts from now on.
Dottie

Just think on how much joy you've brought the family. They will always be talking about the time Granny Dot sent the "cussing shirt."
I should email you my goof.
JINX - you snf mr.... I had a somewhat simular situation the night before last-
My son will NOT wear anything conventional so getting him clothing for school is insane. I finally went to the internet the other night looking for tshirts. Looking over his shoulder I saw one that I thought he would like - well....it was his color - BLACK.. I told him that THAT would be a good one for him.
He busted out laughing... "you know what that means don't you?"
It was a hand - and it was not the dirty hand gesture, that I knew
When he told me - I don't know which one of us was more mortified.
The moral of this story - Don't send you grandson any tshirts that have hands on them - they are really nasty.
LOL Dottie! Innocent mistake, of course.
Once my straight-laced brother sent me a site he thought my little niece would be interested in. I checked it out first. It was soooooo not kid appropriate, even though it looked it at first glance.
He was mortified when I told him lol
