I don't know what the show is, but since you asked "when", I'll answer with a year. :-) I'll guess 1960 .

I might as well take a guess.    Because I loved it, I am going to say.....Father Knows Best.    It actually IS the first show I can remember watching the reruns of.

Don't know when they started reruns but my fav Burns and Allen went on the year before I was born (1950) and the original Life Of Riley (Jackie Gleason) in the late 40s prior to I Love Lucy (1951) I'll say B&A or LofR. Then again just because it's first doesn't mean reruns didn't start until the 60s...hmmmm!

  • I loved all those shows and December Bride too!! TDQ
  • wasn't LOR William Bendix? TDQ
  • William Bendix did it in the 50s (the better known version) and Jackie Gleason did it in the late 40s. Only a few episodes but I've seen them all. Loved Spring Byington as December Bride. How about People's Choice with Cleo the talking dog - them were the days. eom/WE
  • Those were the days!! I wish they'd show some of those re-runs on Nick at Nite instead of Roseanne/Fresh Prince/and Cosby!! I think there is definately a market for it!! I would love to see the ones w/Jackie Gleason. I always loved the Honeymooners! Art Carney especiallt!! Thanks for the memories!! TDQ
