Additional Comments:

It's here...the prize from Doopy's Library Card contest. Thank you Doopy...it's a great prize package!

Garden Hanger...will hang on the lower deck so I can see it when I'm at the computer.

Note Petals...I'll sure have pretty shopping list and one of those petals will make a pretty bookmark.

The Book...a Tori (from Missouri) O'Shay Mystery. I'll be reading it soon.

York lip balm...ah, the smell and taste of York Peppermint Patties without the calories.

The Box...I'm thinking a button box.

Garden Gloves...perfect!!!

The Seeds...from Doopy's oldest plant. How cool is that?

The Rocks...from Calico CA. Awesome colors...that color combo would be just right for one of my hag dresses. Seriously, I'd like to use them as drawer pulls in the master bath...I'll have to work on that idea.

The succulent ground cover...from Doopy's garden to mine. I have the perfect arid spot for it in my West Garden.

Shortly, I be planting the seeds and ground cover and as I see it grow I'll think of Doopy and her library card contest.

Hi, Tori. Glad you got it! I'm embarrassed at how LONG it took me to get it out to you, what with vacation and all...

The tiny things aren't really seeds. They're actually very tiny plants. Just put them on top of the soil and the tiny roots will grow down. Your knob project sounds interesting. And I really hope you enjoy that book!

  • I just kind of pushed the tiny plants into the soil...think that'll be okay? And, I'm guessing it will need indirect light when indoors? :)Tori

Wow. That sure beats getting stuff that's been lying around the house.

    I might have to re-think the prizes I give, but I won't.

    You're a lucky duck.
