Subject: Actually, I did. As far as I know, XP is gone and there are no Vista updates on the horizon. The lastest wrinkle is that 2 places I went to today say I need to pay a bunch of money to have the advertising that comes with Vista deleted so the computer would run faster. I'm trying to find out if it's a scam, because I don't have the extra money to do that right now. I'm starting to think I'm going to wait a bit longer to do this...Blinkie
