Subject: yeah, we used the floater thing too but we have such a big pool (24' x 4 1/2 ') it takes a LOT of those expensive chlorine tablets to keep it clean PLUs the chlorine smell... The salt thing just works so much better and except for changing the filter (as you would anyway) there is no having to add and adjust... You put the salt in just ONCE (about $30 - 40 for our pool) and no more adding chlorine... (those big buckets of chlorine tablets are really expensive, like $70).. I tell you, it's so much nicer to get into a pool and not have to worry about the itchy chemical reaction I get to chlorine! /Gma b@s
