Additional Comments: Alright, when people call me, they have 3 rings and then they're into voicemail. People complain, but I have not changed it. Just now, I called my friend (the Colombian) and I fricking swear, it rang 8 times. I was like "For god sake, just shoot me into VM!" But then he answered all breathlessly.

So I said "What? We were you having sex or something?" And he tried to joke it off, but that was never his strong suit. He's as transparent as a 20 year-old pair of Hanes underwear. Anyway, the three of us will meet up in an hour or so. It's only fair. When I was with my Peruvian BF, the Colombian Ex was often the 3rd wheel and now it's my turn to be the unwanted aging lothario. However, he and his new BF are NOT attentive to my needs whatsoever. At least me and the Peruvian would try to set him up with guys all the time.

Whatever.

So how many rings do you have on your cell before it goes to VM? Jesus, that Red Bull is really kicking in.

I think mine is set at 4. My sister is like your ex, it rings at least 10 times. And then, once you get VM there is her greeting that last about 20 second and another 30 or so seconds of, "if you'd like to page this person, press 5. To send a text message, push pound, to leave a message press one now or wait for the tone," and so on. To survive all of that, leave a friggen message with details and THEN have her call back and and be all, "hey, you called?" is MADDENING.

Love it! I love her big eyes and small mouth. If she cut and curled her hair, she'd be Betty Boop. Anyway, I'm too much of bleeding heart to literally connect with the lyrics. I tend to like my Exes and feel glad when they move on. However, OMG, I am such the 3rd wheel with the Colombi-ex and his guy. They're good looking and obvious about it, and I hate attention unless it's from a specific person. Big difference there. eom Martimmy
