if you haven't seen it yet...
But was that Horatio who was lying in a pool of his own blood at the end of the show? I was watching it but turned my attention to other matters and then came back to the tv just in time to see one of the CSI guys get a call on his cell that it was done and then it looked like we were looking through Horatio's ever present sunglasses, but now broken, and peering at his 'lifeless' body on the ground....
Maybe it is some kind of ruse to get the bad guy thinking that Horatio is dead and so, (which would explain the cellphone message) and the cliffhanger to next season is no big deal?
Or does anyone know if the actor has been cut loose from the show or if he has pulled the same thing he did when he was on that police show and just upped and left it?

Oh, that was indeed Horatio. I THINK it was all a setup and there is no way they will kill off Horatio.. Here's what they showed - guy in jail talking to (can't think of his name, H's ex's new hubby) saying ''Let me know when IT'S DONE'', plane door closing, H standing next to plane TEXTING someone, a shot, H goes down on WET TARMACK appears to be dying (didn't see any blood), Ryan walking out of courthouse and receiving a text ''It's DONE''.
It LOOKS like Ryan is in cahoots with the bad guys and Horatio was shot but I think it was all a setup. I think Ryan is helping H set up...ok THAT guy (is his name RON?) and H is pretending to be shot.
Spoilers say that (highlight to read) Horatio lives!
