Additional Comments: Oh my gravy!! TAR and llamas is always promising. It was a good leg . . . then again, we had llamas and cows. Of course it would be a fun leg. Granted, the "llama adoration" detour task was a little too easy; once you figure out how to get a llama to calm down, the rest is easy. And sadly, nobody got spat on.

I am loving the Cowboys and their romance novel names more and more! I liked that they did their own thing. I laughed so hard and cheered so much at an AR episode as when the cowboys very neatly neglected to tell the tag teams of morons that their bus was at another terminal.

I hate the way Caite talks; it makes her sound stupid no matter what she's saying. I don't care what the Caite says... I still think she's a little dim. Also, Brent does not seem like the brightest bulb either.

I do not think that Grandma should have done the RB. They knew they were behind, and she doesn't have a big sense of urgency. It's her calm quality that makes her seem like a pleasant person, but not an ideal racer.

Carol and Brandy are getting obnoxious. They certainly feel entitled--butting in line ahead of the other teams. And it looks like they're grilling J & C about how they got to tonight's destination ahead of C & B.

Did not see too much of the middle of the pack teams.

Jordan is too dumb to function.

Woohoo! Phil was wearing his black turtleneck of hotness!

I'm very tired of the girl couple (Carol and Brandy?), they are rude and arrogant, as if that's better than being a bit dim (Brent and Caite?)- they make me think they are jealous, certainly not superior.  Sorry but people being so insensitive to someone, and making sure she can hear it, is repugnant.

I like the cowboys, hope they go far.

I do like Jeff and Jordan, but I'm a Big Brother fan, and at least they aren't cruel and mean and rude, lol.

I haven't really gotten involved in a season since the first or second one. I had it on in the background last night. Stuff like everyone racing to get to a spot only to have to open after everyone arrives gets really old after a while, which is one of the reasons I kind of gave up on the show.

  • Bunching is going to happen, just for them to do certain tasks that are not opened in the middle of the night. I do not think it has happened nearly as much as it used to. Even the other night, the Cowboys were the only ones who were there when the place opened, so there really was not any bunching. Sometimes I like bunching and sometimes I do not. eom Mimi
  • I just feel badly when a team gets someplace way before the others and then have to wait until the rest arrive before doing some stuff...Blinkie

The bus swapping festival was interesting.  Glad it worked out for the cowboys and not the others.  The cowboys not telling the others about the mistake was great.  Since the object of the game is simply to get to the end before the others, this is one of the only ways you could actually have an effect on another team's game.  But, really, the cowboys were simply "minding their own business".  It's interesting that all those other teams just sat and waited hours for the next bus when they could have tried something.  I have to at least give Jeff and his followers some credit for that.

I'm guessing the logic behind Grandma doing the challenge was that it was 'simply' gathering ingredients for a cake/pie/edible. Poor thing was a bit too dithery for that.  Getting kicked in the head by a cow didn't help either.  I'm guessing calling it a baker's dozen was supposed to trick someone up, but it didn't seem to, much to my surprise.

I am so tired of Carol and Brandy.  About had it with Dan and Jordan.  Louie and Michael might as well just go catch the next plane home.  The filler teams have yet to make much of an impression(other than house-painting).

Biggest laugh of the week though was when they were waiting on their partners and Miss SC hawked up a lugie and spit it out and the other 2 teams waiting just looked at each other, then Miss SC says "Sorry".  How ladylike..and funny.

I know we only see a tiny bit of it, but Chile looks pretty.

  • I still like Dan and Jordan, because they bring the snark. I did love the bus swapping and was happy the Cowboys did not say anything to the two teams that I hate. I wonder why the rest of the teams did not try for earlier buses, but I think they all thought no transfers.eom Mimi

Jeff to Jordan: "Jordan, do you know what a Bakers Dozen is?"

    Jordan:  "Jay-ffff!"

All I could think was that Jordan....Miss "I don't know how to tell time with clocks"....probably doesn't even know what a regular dozen is!

When Caite speaks, she sounds just as doofus as she did on that pageant.  And how absolutely stupid was it of both teams to hop into cabs at 6:27 and think they could make it to a bus that was leaving at 6:30?  Why would they NOT just switch tickets for the 7:00 bus that was leaving from the terminal where they already were???

    LOVE the cowboys!!

  • I believe that Jordan did not know what a bakers dozen was. She did think San Jose was H-O-S-E. I think so far, in the teams of Jordan/ Jeff and Brent/ Caite, that the guys are carrying the girls. I wondered why they tried to go to the other station too, when it was almost 6:30. They should have just changed in their tickets and waited with the Cowboys. eom Mimi

Brent and Caite annoyed with their comment about how Jeff and Jordan were the team most like them, because they're smart. And the other teams are all stupid?  I laughed very hard when B. and C. missed their bus.

I was pretty sure that Grandma and granddaughter would not last long. I wonder how far they finished behind the 9th place team. Speaking of whom, Louie and Michael will need a miracle to get much farther. They have really been struggling.

We need an Amazing Race drinking game. Sip whenever one of the cowboys says, "Oh, my gravy." (That's really annoying, too.) And whenever someone makes a mistake accompanied by the "mistake music" (like Louie and Michael driving past the place where they were supposed to go), or someone mocks Caite's speech from the pageant, or a team gets penalized, or someone misses a flight/bus/train, etc.

  • I thought 'Oh my gravy' was kind of endearing and I mock Caite's speech from the pageant more than anyone on the show. I did like that comment about Brent and Caite getting along with Jordan and Jeff because they are smart. WTF? eom Mimi
