I tried to watch the original but got bored after while - I guess the same as I'm doing with *Flash Forward*! It's too bad these sci-fi stories have such a hard time holding our interest after the first couple of episodes. -Spell

Yep, I agree! Too bad, I was so hoping!! When that lead guy was being questioned I hated the way he constantly glared out from beneath his eyebrows!! What WAS that???
Hey, speaking of ''V''...does anyone remember the original? I loved it!!! BUT I thought the Visitors were strange looking if I remember right?!?!! I think they were all bald and had spots on their heads for one thing. So, we could tell a Visitor from a regular person. So far, from the previews I've seen, these Visitors look just like we do?!! I loved the actors and the characters from the original so I'm kind of wondering if I will/can get into this new one!!!

I was a big V fan in the 80s, and if I remember correctly, they looked like regular people except when nobody was around. I remember the main female alien, when nobody was around would stretch her mouth open really wide and consume a live mouse whole. Used to really gross me out. (Edward)
Dax) Bald with spots on their heads - that was Alien Nation. In 'V', they looked like us until you peeled their skin off... then they're green and lizard-like...
You are right!!! Darn!! I LOVED Alien Nation!!! How about they do that one?!!! I don't remember if I was all that fond of ''V'' now! Boo, hiss! eom fuzzwuzz
Any *Battlestar Galactica* fans here (the latest one, not the original)? It looks to me like the new *V* will borrow the insidiously horrifying concept of the aliens hidden among us with no way to tell (except maybe their blood, which is what B.G. did). -Spell

I was at the computer while it was on last night (which is never good, since the computer gets most of my attention), and I'll tell ya, nothing that happened in the show last night stuck in my brain. Nothing got my attention enough to make me turn my attention to the show. So, I guess I'm saying that I wasn't at all impressed either! Darn it; this seemed to be such a promising show, but it just hasn't held my interest. Maybe "V" will; it had better, with all the jazzy promos we're getting!

I'm also looking forward to V and hope it doesn't end up like FF. (Edward)

I watched a few episodes of FlashForward. Not my cup of tea! Doesn't make much sense to me. I have trouble getting involved in shows like FF. I can't really say why. Lost has too many flashbacks, etc. I can't keep up with them. I stopped watching when the polar bear charged in Season 1. Phony! The underground thing was phony too. I know lots of folks love Lost this is JMO! lol
Most of the new shows this year are not impressing me. Vampire Diaries, Eastwick, Melrose Place to name three. I've stopped watching because they don't interest me. I will be very glad when the next and last season of the Tudors is on, Big Love returns and I only wish Mad Men had more episodes. I love these shows!
I think Deperate Housewives, Gray's Anatomy to mention two, are going to be gone at the end of the year. Not getting my attention anyway. Ugly Betty should get her braces off already! It doesn't take five years to straighten teeth. And why can't they let her evolve into a well-dressed, pretty business women instead of keeping her a frump!

And believe me, FF is getting sillier and sillier with each episode. You were smart not to waste more time on it. (Edward)
