The Fall 2008 TV season, now nearing its end, left most viewers far from impressed. The only standout new series is CBS' crime procedural "The Mentalist," which became the highest-rated new show of the season and has made its star, Simon Baker, one of the comeback kids of '08. But in spite of dismal ratings, the majority of these series garnered a good million or so viewers. For those who enjoyed Christian Slater's move to the small screen in "My Own Worst Enemy" or ABC's sophomore shows -- "Pushing Daisies," "Dirty Sexy Money," and "Eli Stone" -- these cancellations can be alarming and especially annoying when you're really invested in a particular TV show. Attempting to find out exactly when the canceled shows will air its last few episodes can confuse the situation even more. To ease you into the reality that you're going to have to break up with a show you've just started to get involved with, we've put together a list of the current season's canceled TV series which includes information on how many remaining episodes will air when:
ABC
"Dirty Sexy Money" – 5 episodes
"Eli Stone" – 7 episodes
"Opportunity Knocks" – 6 episodes
"Pushing Daisies" – 5 episodes
CBS
"The Ex List" – 0 episodes
The CW
"Easy Money" – 0 episodes
"Valentine" – 0 episodes
"In Harm's Way" – 0 episodes

Talk About It: What shows are you disappointed to see go?

Okay, Mr. Dax Know-it-All ;-P ... this is from an article on zap2it.com Friday, 12/12:
"Lipstick Jungle has been on quite the roller coaster ride for the last month, being canceled and then revived, and subsequently shuffled to two different time slots in four weeks. Despite these trials, however, the show has been creatively triumphant and, according to the NBC promo department, will be back in the new year with new episodes for us to enjoy. Merry Christmas, Lipstick Jungle fans!"

I'm sorry to see "Pushing Daisies" go. I like "Eli Stone" well enough, but rarely watch it.
The sad thing is that none of these will likely be replaced by anything better.
Did NBC really thing "Crusoe" would work? And on Friday nights at that?
