Also dropped from my DVR list: Flashforward and Eastwick. Melrose Place is also a definite contender but I am waiting for You-Know-Who to return.

I also dropped Community and since it is not available on On Demand well, I won't be watching it which is too bad b/c I do like Joel McHale.
My new favorite show is Modern Family and I am enjoying Cougar Town, The Middle and Accidentally on Purpose.

FlashForward was a goner a couple of weeks ago. Still watching Community, but wasn't that funny last week.
I love Joel McHale on Soup but had to give up Community.
If FF doesn't get better soon that one will be next. I'll wait to see how *Charlie* from LOST does first though, lol. I like FF but it's a lot of work trying to remember people's flash forwards for me.
House- after awhile it struck me, who would really hang around much less tolerate such an irascible, self-indulgent ego maniac like House? In the first few season his quirks were novel and I kept thinking we'd find out what's really behind his attitudes and demeanor. As time has gone on, I don't care to wait to find out anymore.
Lost- this goes back to the end of last year. I missed about 4 episodes in a row but Tivo'ed them all, then decided to just delete them all b/c the show was not longer compelling.
On the verge:
Biggest Loser (all of the contestants I really liked and pulled for are off already, and those that remain are barely reason enough to watch now). Poor casting, IMHO
FlashForward- Joseph Finnes is too dour and glum for me. Sure, I know he got an awful glimpse of the future, but his angst is killing me. I love the actor, but not in this role. Also, whereas Fringe (one of my faves!) also has a mysterious story to tell, unlike Lost and FF, Fringe tells us and moves the story right along. The pace of FF is too plodding and too similar to Lost if you ask me.
Never: Law and Order SVU is still as great as always, as are Top Chef, Fringe, and Project Runway.
The Good Wife had to go. Not because I didn't like it, but because I just don't have time for all the shows I record. They start to pile up. Then I need room on the DVR. I got rid of The Good Wife and Cougar Town and Modern Family. I'm going to try to keep up with the other shows I watch...
...Flash Forward, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Eastwick, Glee, General Hospital, and everything else. I will catch Good Wife when I can.

Most recently deleted from my DVR record list:
Fast Forward -premier episode seemed promising. Now it promises to bore
House - I feel like it's run out of gas
Ugly Betty - can't get into it any more.
Guiding Light - excuse me, but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh. I'm still grieving
I almost cut out Grey's but the past two weeks have been really good. No ghosts, no bizzarro storylines. The have been character driven or medically driven. So it stays on my list.
Grey's Anatomy: Ugh! I could not stand Izzie at all, even through her cancer arc. It must be my cold, black heart. I hated the ghost sex last season. Christina is the only character I like (besides Alex, but him being with Izzie kills that), and she barely gets any good storylines.
Heroes: I gave up after last season. I still like most of the cast, but I could care less about the stories.
So You Think You Can Dance: Haven't watch a bit of the fall season. It is getting to be like American Idol to me with all the manipulations. I hated how they treated Evan last season on the finale. Yes, he was not the best dancer there, but it is the finale and the judges usually sugarcoat everything. They basically tore him a new one, even Adam, who is usually a nicer judge.
Project Runway: Watched the start of the season and then kind of stopped. I have some still on my Tivo, but really do not care to watch, especially since I was spoiled.
House: I quit a season or two ago. Whenever they changed to horrible Thirteen, Foreman, and Taub (and Kutner). Blech. I will always love House/Wilson, but without much Chase, I do not care.
Bones: I quit at the start of last season when Zach was made into a cannibal's apprentice? Seriously? That is so OOC. Plus I never shipped Booth/Bones, in fact I think they are the most unlikable people on that show.

I watched the first episode this season of "Brothers and Sisters" and decided I just didn't care, so I dropped it. I dropped "Grey's Anatomy" when they went to the endless "Private Practice" crossover last year. I decided not to watch "Ugly Betty" when it started this season. I really lost enjoyment for it and it's repetetive fight for control of Meade last year.
I dropped "NCIS:Los Angeles" after 2 episodes. I just couldn't get into it.
If it were on at another time, I would probably have kept watching "Vampire Diaries", but I suspect the brothers fighting over the same girl would have wore me down by now.
I still watch "Heroes" but mostly out of habit. It's ratings are really down, and last I heard it hadn't been renewed for a full season, and, it if isn't, it would sort of be like stopping banging my head against a wall. I mean, we're supposed to enjoy long sequences with a deaf woman playing colorful music? Add Hiro's illness, Silar in two seperate storylines, and then dragging a boy to his death behind a car? Seriously?
Sad to say, but I'm 2 episodes behind on "Dexter" and not really concerned about watching them. What I've seen this season has been a bit of a drag so far. I'll probably eventually catch up, but I really hate I've lost interest in a show I used to really love.

The list is MUCH smaller of the shows I want to watch. I like the casts of a lot of the shows, but the storytelling is just crap! I wanted to like Modern Family & Community, but they fall flat for me.
I thought I would like Cougar Town (like the cast, like Bill Lawrence's Scrubs), but I didn't.
I've only seen the first couple of Flash Forward, and I DOUBT I'll stick with it, but I do think I'll watch another one or two before deciding...
Added this season - I like Modern Family, Community, Bored To Death, The Good Wife, and Glee. And probably White Collar (pilot was good, haven't seen #2 yet).

I love Joel McHale (The Soup) but Community, his show with Chevy Chase, didn't grab me so that's the only one I dropped.
Otherwise, I haven't dropped any returning shows. Of the new ones, though, I quit the forgotten after one episode, and Three Rivers is so terrible, that one is off my schedule, too.
The excellent acting on "Bros & Sisters" is enough to keep me coming back; I honestly don't care what the stories are about, cuz I just enjoy watching all those people so much. So it'd be one of the last shows I'd drop, under any circumstances!
I have given up on "Heroes," though. Just got too repetitive for me, too much violence and revolving characters; I got dizzy.
I also gave up trying to get hooked on "90210." Though I loved the original series and wanted to like it, I just couldn't find the time, or inclination I guess, to get to know everyone. (I also didn't like the main girl character, so that didn't help.)
Darn it, I'm not watching "Jay Leno" as I was sure I would. I think he had good intentions but it's just a dull show, I'm sorry to say. Very slow-paced, like it's for elderly people (who he's very good with; maybe he had mainly them in mind when he designed it). I'm not sure what the answer is for him now, maybe he's had his time with TV and is just destined to do live shows. I wish him well and still think he's one of the best there were as far as late-night hosts.
Though I haven't had time to watch "Mad Men," probably my very favorite show, I do have all eps recorded and I just need to catch up. I'm looking forward to it, like the chocolate cake at the end of a meal - I will savor it!
Ditto with "Melrose Place" - especially since more & more of the alumni are coming back (I LOVED the old show), and also because I'm simply getting hooked on the current show which features some fun actors, I'm recording every episode and watch them as I get time. I'm so bummed that its ratings are poor, which surprises me; it's fun to watch. Well I hope they can save it, and know when Ms. Locklear comes back it'll surely get a boost. And I hope she's able to convince the writers to add in some of the old humor, which it really needs and may make the difference with the ratings.
I like the whole comedy lineup on Wednesdays, but am having to record it sometimes; I hope to keep up, but may not always. Oh well, comedies don't develop the way dramas do so hopefully that won't matter.
Otherwise, I'm keeping up, amazingly! There's a lot of TV to watch these days. (Plus I recently gained about 15 commercial-free movie channels with my new carrier, and I like to watch those too, along with a lot of the news shows ... how did I ever find time to work before?? Ha ha.)
