I finally had a chance to watch my taped copy of AI results show. I am so glad that Carly was given the boot. I just didn't like her, or her style. I was pulling for Brooke from the beginning, but she has messed up too many times. That is the second time that she's had to start a song over. Who would want to see that in a live performance?

Same with Jason. I was pulling for the little cutie from the beginning, but now he just ALWAYS looks the same and sings the same. Starting to annoy me.

I guess at this point I'm just rooting for David. Michael would have been my choice, but oh well. And Andew was right about David A. It got on my nerves from the beginning that he always had his eyes closed!

Interesting. I think Brooke's still on because she comes off as a very nice, caring person. I know that's not a reason to vote for someone, but she's got a nice voice that's distinctive, too. I recall one week Simon not only criticized her singing, but the way her back up band looked on stage. She was very quick to say "Hey, wait a minute!" and defend them. She has also defended other singers when, in the bottom two or three, Simon has said something against a singer that got too personal. These admirable qualities may be one of the reason people are still voting for her.

It's funny how different we all perceive things! I was a fan of David Cook's from the beginning but never Brooke. In my own opinion, I find her to be contrived and fake. I think that the only reason she's staying in this long is because of this website who kept Sanjaya in for as long as he did.
