Additional Comments: I think Jennifer's designs are so surreal that normal human brains can't process it. So, our brains replace whatever it is that she's designing with, say... Ann Taylor garments. That said, I liked what my brain said she designed, but not for the olympics. And it wasn't very interesting in any case.
I loved Terri's outfit, and I do think she got robbed. I thought her outfit would work on a variety of body types. The only thing I would change would be to make the tube top a tank. Same idea, but then the athletes aren't futzing with a top falling down. And I also liked that it wasn't as literal as Joe's. I much prefer a patriotic, but chic look. I think the atheletes could of mixed and matched Terri's pieces to make it their own.
Michael Kors had the best lines about Daniel's cocktail dress, "Republic of Cocktail-Land," and "Perfect if your athlete is competing in the Alcohol Games." Hee!! And Daniel's whole "I don't know anything about the Olympics" shtick really rankled. Santino from second season, in one of his post show interviews he said something really perceptive, I thought, about how a fashion designer has to be educated in culture. Movies. Books. Music. Educated in the culture. The Olympics transcend sports. Acting above it all to mask ignorance --- doesn't.
It amazed me how clueless most of the designers were. Even if they'd never seen the Opening Ceremony, they have heard that athletes are involved not, you know, skinny fashion models on their way to a cocktail party.
Kenley's laugh is almost as annoying as Suede talking about Suede. Although Kenley is more annoying with her "I'm so cute" schtick. I hate Kenley! What an obnoxious voice, laugh, personality, style and everything. I still haven't gotten over her undeserved win last week over Leanne's.
Once that hat made an appearance I thought for sure Jerell was done for. Then when the full Eliza Doolittle ensemble marched out, OH GOD. Hi-larious. Again, daring trumps boring every time, no matter how ugly.
Stella = Rami. She can't seem to get away from her comfort zone. "Leatha" is all she does. Color me surprised that she was in the "safe" category this week.

Message: I am watching, but it really is taking a lot of effort. Living in Canada, I do not receive the US Bravo station, so I have to rely on people posting on You Tube. I think that the network must yank the videos, because most the the postings indicate the video is not available. So it takes a lot of searching to actually find the show. I understood the challenge, but thought it was stange in a way. There was no intent to use any of the designs for the athletes. Also Apolo is a Winter athlete and these were summer designs... oh well... it was still enjoyable. I don't think that any of the designs were great, but a couple were really off the dial.

Message: I am watching too! It's just that the last So You Think You Can Dance was on and I was out of town visiting my parents, so I missed this last week! There are still too many people for me to have a favorite yet. I don't even know all of their names! I do know that some of them get on my nerves! Suede is kind of like that! He tries to be funny but it just gets old. Same with that other guy, probably Daniel, the blonde. Anyway, you are not alone in Project Runway land! I am just a little behind!
