It sounds interesting - seeing up close how our troops on the sea live. TV Guide's description for tomorrow night's episode says: "The secretive side of life at sea is explored, including relationships between male and female sailors. Also the role that port calls play in allowing sailors to release tensions."
It's 2 hours, from 8 to 10 p.m. Darn; it'll interfere with the end of "Dancing with the Stars"! (Please, nobody tell a military person I said that!) Thank goodness for the old VCR.
Seems like it ought to be "required viewing" in this time of war; it's so easy to shut it all out, isn't it? Especially since so much of our military's activities are restricted and kept from our view. But our war goes on even as we enjoy our frivolous TV shows.

I am watching , and its great !
What makes it hard for me is knowing that its real life and when somebody hits a setback you know its no stage joke.
When its over, I hope they will let us know where the enlisted people are now, esp. the guy who got busted for consensual sex and pretty much destroyed his career, the guy trying to get promoted from V-2 but his underage drinking rap from way back is holding him back, and the women who are determmined to overcome their disadvantaged backgrounds.
