For those of us "Man Men" addicts (and of the ripe old age of 50+, who remember that era), how about sharing a list of all the little details we notice that they're getting oh so right?
Off the top of my head:
- Women in offices were "the girls," and an executive referred to his secretary as "my girl" - as in, "I'll have my girl get you some coffee"
- Having to use a can opener to open a can of beer
- Women had to wear garter belts! (Not even pantyhose back then)
- No worries when unattended kids played with plastic bags
- No seat belts in the car!
- Men (and many women) always wore hats when they went "into town"
And there are so many more in this totally authentic series. What have you noticed?

Another one: Don sees his boss to the door after an evening of dinner & booze to the point where the boss is weaving as he walks. Don calls to him out the window, "Not that car - that's mine!" (He's more worried about the guy driving off in his own car than the fact that he's just sent a totally drunk man off on the road!)
Then, as I recall, the boss reports to him the next day that he pulled over and fell asleep before he got too far. Probably ran over a couple of people before that, ha ha!
I know why we all have to take workforce harrassment (formerly sexual harrassement) courses in this day and age! LOL
and what about fully stocked liquor bottles in all offices!
love this show.
