I can't wait to see what happens with the guys. I have not read any news about the show and have no idea if Sharon Gless is returning. She really did a great job playing a wacko. She should have got an emmy nom for that.
I also can't wait to find out if Julia and Sean both live or not. I'm sure they won't kill off Sean, but Julia? Maybe! I think Eden's mother is drugging her into that coma to keep her quiet that her daughter was the one poisioning her.
This is Season 5 Part 2, putting 8 on the end of the 14 we got last season (which would have ended in the same place where it did, but if not for the strike, we may have gotten these next ones sooner than we are).
After that, the plan is for there to be just 19 more in Season 6, which will again very probably be split into two halves somehow (11/8? 10/9? Either way, they'll be frustratingly short...).
They're filming the last batches now, so we'll probably soon have the situation where the cast is all free to sign onto other things, the show behind them... yet we'll still have some new episodes to watch in the '09-'10 and '10-'11 seasons.
100 episodes total. Six seasons (or 8 runs... even worse for me than only getting a few shows at a time is their doling out smaller dvd releases this way...).

I'm with you Carmen, I could watch this show every hour, every day. No one does wacky like N/T.
And WOW! Cynthia my friend, I LOVE your idea of Julia faking the amnesia! I'd love to see her pull that off and send Eden up the river.
Other than reality TV, this is the ONLY scripted show that I watch. It's the most original show around right now.

Hey my tiny theory at the end of last season was that Julia was faking her amnesia, although it's been so long, I forget my reasoning. Think my thought was she either protecting or maybe blackmailing her partner over Eden... can't remember now.
And YES it will be GREAT to see Nip Tuck again!!

Gless did get a nom for her Nip/Tuck wacko. And yeah, she'll at least be in this first one...
I'll be very excited to watch a new N/T Tuesday night.
But know going in - to spare unnecessary frustration later - we're only getting eight this time... (but then we get a 22-show season of Rescue Me, so I'm happy about that...)
