DON'T READ IF YOU HAVE NOT WATCHED YET.........(not many things given away, but still, if you have not watched don't read)
Personally, I loved the 'wedding'. It was sweet. I just wish Scotty's parents had been there. That was really sad that they didn't come. And I loved that Saul finally came out to the family. I just don't like things like that hanging out there. As for the Rebecca and Justin thing.....it was grossing me out some at first, but at the end it seemed OK....especially after what she said. So, now, will they do a whole season on finding this RYAN? That seems to me like where that is headed......this man, if he does in fact have another child, really got around, huh? And I don't like the story line with Kitty. That whole story seems to be weird to me....like it was just thrown in there for something for Kitty and Robert to be doing......they really need a good story.
I hope I didn't spoil anything if someone taped and has not watched yet!

Message: Ok, so I just watched the finale last night, since I watched the Survivor Finale on Sunday night, and I LOVED LOVED LOVED this episode...well at least 99% of it!
I adore Kevin and Scotty. I think they are so sweet and real and I loved that Nora proved to Kevin that he really did want and deserve a REAL wedding! Very sweet. Scotty's parents broke my heart. It was clear his Dad doesn't feel as strongly as his mother does but is stuck in a difficult position. The addition of the cuff links was a lovely touch.
The relationship between the Walker brothers is my favourite dynamic on the show. I love the way they talk to each other, confide in each other, and tease each other. A poster below said it perfectly, they are so in sync you forget they're not actually brothers!! They had some great lines last night too, lines that had me actually laughing out loud, such as, "time to celebrate your holy MANtrimony!", and Justin's, "my god, this is the gayest week of my life" after Saul finally came out! Some great moments for the Walkers!
As for the discovery of another brother Ryan, it gave me goosebumps! The flashbacks were so well done, and the intensity of the realization was great. Poor Nora, her husband really was a sh*t!! It should make for some interesting moments next season. Will they find him? Will they like him? Will he even be interested in joining their family? I wonder if it will be the opposite of Rebecca, who was craving the feeling of family. How will she react to the news that there is indeed another Walker to step into her place?
The only part I wasn't crazy about was Justin and Rebecca. Here are my thoughts on this issue. I can accept that they will eventually be a couple. That has been quite obvious for some time. I think they are sweet with one another, and the actors have great chemistry. However, my issue is that I think they acted on these new feelings too quickly. I think the writers could have postponed the kiss for a while, after all, it had only been a few days since they discovered they weren't siblings. For goodness sake, the rest of the family only JUST found out. I think they should have had them hang out, and grow closer on a new level, instead of just jumping into a kiss right away, however awkward that kiss was. I would think that despite feelings they have, which is weird in itself after thinking of the other person as a brother or sister only days before, that it would feel very strange and uncomfortable to kiss so soon after. Like I said, I knew it would happen eventually, I just feel the writers didn't have to rush into it the very next episode.

Message: I love this show, I really do, but lets see how many more paternity storylines we can get going. There is still Lizzie, we don't know who her father is - Kevin or Justin - and maybe William's sperms were frozen, there was a mix-up and William is Tommy's little girl's father! lol, I am just kidding but the point is that it seems there is a lot of that on this show. lol

Message: The Saul reveal scene was hilarious. I was laughing so hard tears came to my eyes. I loved the wedding... not a wedding... the trip with the brothers to see Scotty's parents was also priceless. This cast is so in sync at this point you forget they are not related and this is acting. Sally Field was, as usual, totally the mom, and those flowers at the end, after promising not to go overboard, exactly what you knew she was going to do. I loved how Kevin broke down and really appreciated her. And the cuff links from the dad: wow. I also loved the scenes with Justin and Rebecca at the end. That was well done. I also loved the Kevin flashback scenes with his dad and the realization about Ryan! Poor Nora... she is going to have another round of mourning the reality of her not-so-wonderful husband! I wonder how this will impact the $$ left for Rebecca and the future of the family business. This was one of the best season finales on network TV. No murders, violence, natural disasters... just plain well-written drama with a phenomenal cast.

Message: While I liked the wedding, I didn't buy those two actors as Scotty's parents--particularly the actress playing his mom. They are both wonderful actors, but I just don't see them having kids his age. I also have a hard time believing that either would have raised such an insecure, whiner! It was a nice 'twist' to see the mother being the one who wasn't accepting of her son's truth though.
