Okay, I've gotten used to seeing this now & then as I watch late p.m./early a.m. television ... but now it's happening during primetime shows??
I can't be the only one - did "Desperate Housewives" just suffer a long glitch, about 13 minutes into tonight's show, meaning the dialog & pictures broke up and we missed some of the lines? Aarrgghh!
Video tape used to break, though rarely, during late-night TV broadcasts. Now we're faced with DVD broadcasts breaking up? Not good.

I have been dealing w/ this since November w/ my cable company and they told me it was the DVR. they have been out 3 times so far, changing connections and the DVR and still its breaking up, freezing... so bad that I cannot watch anything I record. I'm at my wits end and they are due back on Saturday. (not to mention I gave up the first DVR w/ all my saved programs lost).... grrrrrr
isn't digital great!

DH was fine here last night.
But on a related note, many times lately I've had a scene "echo" when it goes to comercial. The scene will end for the break, then suddenly the last frame of the show will pop back up, then go to the commercial. Not sure what is up with that.
My biggest glitch problem, however, is during "Bones". Every single episode, there is a scene where there is a buzzin "interferance" noise. Often it is when they are running some kind of computer scene. Something about it must set off my cable company's reception somehow.
Didn't happen here... Could have been your cable company's signal, or your local affiliate having trouble, or...
I get weird audio dropouts on NBC's Heroes sometimes - the music score keeps playing at full volume, but the dialogue goes mute... it's bizarre.
