Additional Comments: Not long ago, NBC said it would not be ordering any additional episodes of Trauma beyond the first 13. In effect, the show was cancelled. Now they've backtracked. Three new episodes of Trauma have been ordered, bringing its total run to 16 episodes if no more are ordered.
The site I looked at said that NBC made the decision mostly because they don't have enough other material available to air. They acknowledge Trauma's low ratings, high expense, and lack of critical acclaim.
Well, it's easier to order new episodes of a show that is already in production that it is to start up production on a new series from scratch. NBC is doing pretty badly this season, but I still wouldn't expect Trauma to make it to a second year. OTOH, stranger things have happened.

Message: I like it too. I was very surprised to hear it was going off. The show is full of action with a little different twist with the paramedics. They must put a bundle of money into it. Anyone who is not watching, is their lose. What is the problem? Hospital shows are always entertaining and there is not much opposite it on the regular networks. I cannot understand why they would cancel it this early on.
