I was really torn last night about who to vote for. I've really enjoyed watching Jason improve, and his long limbs and gracefulness have impressed me; when he's really good he & Edyta are the pair to beat. Kristi has been awesome from the start, and has improved in showing emotion in her dances. Cristian has been amazing, the way he's worked around his injured arm; it seems to be the best thing that could've happened to him! He's showing that dazzling smile more often when he dances, which is very charming, and his movements, like Jason, are getting more graceful all the time.
I was thinking Marissa would be the one to go at this point, so figured I wouldn't be voting for her last night. But, WOW, with her 2 dances I was so impressed with the way she gets us involved, notwithstanding her two impediments - her height & weight. You never would have thought she'd match up with Tony Dovolani, who is so slim and tall, but by God she has met the challenge. She may not have the long, slim, graceful arms and legs of most champions, but you can never say that she hasn't made us forget that in most of her dances. And she was really good in both dances last night.
So, I ended up voting most for Marissa, with Cristian 2nd and Kristi 3rd. Sorry, Jason!! I would hate to see you go since I want to watch you continue to improve, but all the contestants are just too good at this point.
