Brandy, this is exactly what you signed up to do, whiner. She really needs to shut up or go home. It's one thing to have never watched the show before, quite another to think that The Amazing Race means driving from galleria to galleria in Bentley's drinking bon-bons while shopping for cashmere sweaters.
I actually didn't like Joe and Heidi much at all, but was really rooting for them to beat Jeff/Jordan, especially since tonight they added 'rude, irritating obnoxiousness' to their usual repertoire of 'gross incompetence' and 'profound stupidity.' Gotta love Jeff's assessment that they're "the best team there"...and this was following their LAST place finish the prior leg.
During one of the past couple of episodes, at a pit stop, Joe made an offensive comment to the gay brother. CBS never said what the comment was, but it was assumed to be a gay slur. In secret scenes and clips, the brothers and the lesbian couple vowed to U-turn them as soon as possible. Previous to this, J & H were in an alliance with C & B, but that ended with the comment. (Whatever it was...)
I loved that deer in the headlights look from Caite when she found out she had to go back. Hysterical! And Brent's "Look there are flying things" at the airplanes. They make so many mistakes.
When Dan and Jordan started bickering, I thought, "Oh no, not this again!" But one brother just laughed and was so funny! He called his brother a tool-ha! It's hard to bicker with someone who's just enjoying himself. It's the way they bicker. It's more playful and not as serious. They also seem to quickly get over their differences and don't let bad feelings interfere with the race.
Jet and Cord are still my favorites, followed by Steve/Allie and Dan/ Jordan.
