Subject: I think INITIALLY Holly rejected saving the company for completely legitimate reasons, so you're right about that. But I think her motives and interest in playing hero changed AFTER Rebecca confronted her about her paternity. I think she knew it would come out very soon that Rebecca isn't a Walker, and then she'd have no reason to stay so deeply in bed with the family. Signing on the dotted line of a merger will allow her to stay in the loop regardless of Rebecca's paternity. /Skullys Girl

Subject: Skullys Girl, I agree w/ you 100%. The clear (and devious-minded) implication was that Holly capitulated on ''saving'' Ojai for political puposes once Rebecca told her about the paternity test. The framework of her deal - a merger - sounds more like a corporation than the partnership she's had with Tommy. Tommy wouldn't be able to sell, if that was his druthers, as she's now embedded herself financially and managerially with the Walkers. Notice how Holly also played upon the one-time rivalry between Tommy and Sarah by suggesting that they be some kind of ''co-presidents.'' And of course, she's going to be a ''hands-off'' CEO ... right! LOL! - JT
